  • HPY is a library that handles the transformation of CTA LST R1 Data in Hierarchical Data Format 5 (HDF) HDF5 format. 

    It also provides a module to read files in ZFITS format, which is used to convert the current CTA LST R1 ZFITS data into HDF5.

    The HPY library is written in Python and has been developed by Quasar Science Resources, S.L subcontracted by the UCM group within the work package 3.2 D-EGX of OBELICS under the CTA-DAS project.

    The HPY library developed can be used for:

    • Creation of HDF5 files from ZFITS files.
    • Reading HDF5 files.
    • Reading ZFITS files.
